As part of the initiatives taken up by Kannada Vaishya Welfare Trust, the first program on counseling and career guidance for students of the community studying in X Std. and those entering Pre-University Colleges was held on 17th April 2016 at P.M.Junior College, Ankola. The office bearers of the Trust welcomed the gathering and various resource persons conducted the academic sessions. The students and parents who attended the program were provided with lunch and refreshments by the organizers. Volunteers looked after the registration and other arrangements. Shri Jagannath Nagesh Shetti Kadme, Shri Rajendra Shetti (Hubli) and KVWT jointly sponsored the entire event.
The following resource persons addressed the students on career options –
72 students & some parents participated in the program. All their queries were addressed by the resource persons. The program was a big success and has encouraged us to conduct more such events.
