Kannada Vaishya Welfare Trust organized another workshop on Career Guidance and Skill Enhancement for High School and PU students. The program was held on 20th May 2017 at P.M.Junior College, Ankola. More than 60 students and 32 parents participated in the workshop.

Resource Person, Shri Praveen Gudi, addressed the students and also their parents. He is the founder & CEO of My Life organization in Hubli. He is also a psychotherapist, professional counselor and motivational speaker. Students were divided into groups based on their aptitude and desired field of study. Various avenues for choosing careers were brought to the notice of the participants. Some students were also counseled individually.

A special session was held for interacting with the parents to address their doubts and anxiety. Shri K.J.Shivamurti, U.S.A., Son of Smt. Bharati and Shri Jagannath Nagesh Shetti Kadme, Trustee of Kannada Vaishya Welfare Trust, sponsored the entire event. Based on the experience gained while conducting previous programs, the Trust has been able to update itself about recent trends and requirements of the student & parent community. This has enabled the Trust to conduct such programs more effectively.
