Kannada Vaishya Samaj is one of the smallest communities among 300 plus Vaishya Samajas in India, hence we are not able to draw the attention of the Govt. to obtain any facilities & assistance. Bigger communities like Agarwal Vaishya Samaj, Rouniyar Vaishya Samaj, Arya Vyshya Samaj, Vaishya Vani Samaj have progressed in all fields of life. Realising this KVWT took the initiative and facilitated our Samaj Bandhus especially the youths to meet and interact with the other Vaishya organizations and encouraged them to participate in various programmes, business workshops and religious get-togethers which are aimed at overall development of Vaishya Samaj.

As a part of these initiatives, the Trust encouraged our community people to attend the following programmes:-

1. Vaishya Bandhu meeting on 11th Aug. 2018 held in Bengaluru during Chaturmaasa of Param Pujya Vamanashrama Swamiji of Haldipur.

2. Suvarna Mahotsava of Maagha Shudhdha Pratipade held in Sringeri on 5th Feb. 2019.

3. Global Vaish Business Meet held in FKCCI, Bengaluru, organised by International Vaish Federation and Karnataka Arya Vyshya Mahasabha on 4th Aug. 2019.

4. Vaishya Parivar Milan held in Bengaluru in June 2019.

These meetings and programmes have not only helped in strengthening unity among our Samaj people but also enabled us to develop a good rapport with the top influential people and different Vaishya Organisations of India. We could get the financial assistance of about Rs 300000 for a meritorious student to study engineering thanks to the efforts of Shri Jagannath Kadame and Shri Ganesh Shetti. This has also helped Shri Pradeep Shetti to get selected as Vice-President of Akhil Bharatiya Sarva Vaishya Ekata Mahasabha. It is imperative that we establish social and commercial links with other Vaishya organizations to expand our horizons in trade, commerce, employment, etc.
